What is Matilda?

Matilda is the Enchanter in the Traits area. The reroll applies to the weapon selected with the arrows. Auto Reroll can stop on traits you mark in Keep Traits. Trait History shows earlier rolls. October 2 notes said there was no auto-reroll. The October 9 panel is the later report.

Two. You can switch between them during a run. Named pair bonuses need both weapons equipped at the same time.

What should I play first?

Story, on a difficulty you can finish. Redeem codes first, fill both weapon slots, then buy the first Attack node if the Skills tab shows it. Defend, Infinite, and raids are poor places to learn a kit.
